Arc magnets (also known as tile magnets or sector magnets) are a common type of irregularly shaped magnet among neodymium iron boron (NdFeB) magnets. For example, motors used in high-temperature environments may require N52H or a higher temperature resistance grade.
Dimensional Tolerances: The accuracy of the curvature, length, width, and height of the arc magnet is crucial for motor assembly.
Surface Treatment (Platinum): Neodymium iron boron materials are susceptible to corrosion, therefore surface treatments such as nickel (Ni), zinc (Zn), or epoxy resin plating are required to protect the magnets.
